The artists I’m going to talk about are going to be people that I follow on instagram. There’s going to be a few weird ones that I talk about but they’re going to be artists who’s work I admire and love to see.
Strange Planet
This art is done by Nathan Pyle. He draws aliens living out everyday, natural scenarios. These drawings depict things that EVERYONE does and basically describes what the aliens are doing and it’s funny because it’s exactly what we do we just made it a part of our culture. It inspires me because these pieces he makes are meant to be more for comedy then for art and it makes me feel better as an artist. Because you don’t have to try super hard to make good content.
Sean Charmatz
This is art done by Sean Charmatz, and yes it’s weird and I don’t know if you can really classify it as art but I did so. He takes everyday things that happen, like eating a burrito, and changes them into these funny photos he posts on his instagram. Sometimes they’re just photos he’s drawn stuff on other, like this one, he purposefully staged this photo so he could draw this. He inspires me basically for the same reason I put for the first artist. But this is just funnier because it doesn’t make sense.
Jon Bellion
For the last artist I wanted to choose a music artist, his name is Jon Bellion. His genre of music is hip hop and contemporary R&B. His music is calming and empowering it calms me down when I’m really stressed. I don’t really know exactly what he does that inspires me but listening to his music motivates me when I’m doing homework so I believe his music just inspires me to do things that are important.
